Mount Hibok-Hibok, commonly known as Catarman Volcano, is the most active of at least 14 volcanoes in Camiguin, the Philippines’ second-smallest province. No surprise the province is called “Island Born of Fire”!

Hibok-Hibok is a hiking paradise in Mount Timpoong–Hibok-Hibok Natural Monument. The 3,739-hectare protected area includes heavily forested summits, beautiful waterfalls, including Katibawasan and Tuasan Falls, and Mount Timpoong, the island’s highest point (off-limits to hikers).
