Spanish colonial era church and cemetery

Spanish colonial era church and cemetery

  • Pulilan is one of the towns and cities in Bulacan that still has a church from the Spanish colonial times.
  • In or around 1829, Fray Juan Rico built the church. It was damaged in the storms of 1863 and 1880. After that, the building was repaired and restored.
  • Strangely enough, it’s only one of five towns that has a graveyard from the Spanish era next to the church.
