Worth A Visit

Paliton Beach

Paliton Beach

  • There are many great places in Siquijor to watch the sunset, but Paliton Beach is one of the best.
  • With its beautiful blue water and white sand, it’s also one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
  • Many people refer to Paliton Beach as a “mini Boracay.” Boracay is one of the Philippines' most famous islands, known for its beautiful beaches.
  • You’ll fully understand why that comparison was made after you’ve been to both.
  • If you visit Paliton at any time of the day, you're in for a great experience. The clouds right after sunset, on the other hand, are like nothing else and should not be missed.
  • Paliton Beach has beautiful sunsets that you should see if you get the chance.
Runik Beach Bar

Runik Beach Bar

  • Runik is an adult-only beach bar that recently opened in Siquijor. The whitewashed walls, clay pots and stunning view of the ocean will make you feel like you’ve been moved to the Mediterranean when you walk into Runik Beach Bar.
  • There are beach bars in Greece, Croatia, and Spain that cost a lot more than Runik Beach Bar. If you want to feel wild for just one day and are on a backpacking budget, Runik is a great choice.
  • You can have all the fun, waves, and vibes you’d expect at a beach club in Europe or Dubai without having to pay a lot of money. You only need to spend at least £7 to spend the day at Runik. With a drink or two, this is easy to do.
  • The standout feature of Runik is their “Sunset Session,” a live performance by a DJ accompanied by a professional guitarist.
  • It’s great for chilling out at sunset. Runik is one of my favourite places in Siquijor and one of the best places to visit there.
Salagdoong Beach

Salagdoong Beach

  • On the eastern side of the island, Salagdoong Beach is a beautiful beach. The beach is beautiful, but most people know it as a great place to rock jump.
  • One of the concrete boards is 6 feet high, and the other is 32 feet high, a challenge for the brave.
  • If you don’t like the idea of jumping off cliffs like I do, there is also a waterfall you can use.
  • Salagdoong is a privately owned beach, so you’ll need to pay around 30 PHP to get in and another 20 PHP to park your scooter.
Cambugahay Falls

Cambugahay Falls

  • There are many great places to get close to nature in Siquijor. Cambugahay Falls is one of them.
  • It’s no surprise that Cambugahay Falls is the most famous place for tourists to visit in Siquijor.
  • It’s no surprise that Cambugahay Falls is at the top of everyone’s list of things to do in Siquijor. The water shines a bright blue colour.

  • The spring remains a bit of a riddle, as no one is sure how or why it’s there. A horse demon, dwarfs, and elves are said to live in the Balete Tree, which sounds pretty scary. With water from the spring, someone made a pool around the tree.
  • There are nice fish in the pool who will happily give your feet a foot massage and nibble at your dead skin.
  • You can see the tree, but you have to pay 10 PHP to get in and can only do so between 6 and 7 am.
