The Hinatuan Enchanted River

The Hinatuan Enchanted River is a deep spring river in the Philippines. It is on the island of Mindanao.
There is a barangay in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, where it empties into the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
It can be found in the area between Talisay and Cambatong Barangays. One person who called it an “enchanted river” was the ambassador Modesto Farolan, who wrote a song called “Rio Encantado” about it.
At the mouth of it is Hinatuan Bay, which is home to many kinds of turtles.

Laswitan

The word “Laswitan” comes from the Visayan word “laswit,” which means “the sound of the waves hitting the rocks.”
The waves at Laswitan are one of a kind because they crash against a 20-foot rocky wall and fill up a rock pool on the other side.
People can swim in the two rock pools while being splashed by water from the sea on the other side.
From October to the middle of March is the best time to see Laswitan. There is one large, covered hut that can be rented for a small fee during the day.

The Tinuy-an Falls are a series of falls in Bislig, Surigao del Sur, which is in the southern part of Mindanao Island in the Philippines. The name of this place is “Booming City by the Bay.”
The falls have been shown on TV and in several international travel magazines. People call Tinuy-an Falls, which are 95 m wide and 55 m (180 ft) high, the “Little Niagara Falls of the Philippines.”

Cagwait White Beach is a U-shaped or C-shaped white sand beach that connects to the Pacific Ocean in the east and Mount Diwata in the west.

Bislig Bay walk

The Bislig Bay Walk is a depression in the coast between two capes or headlands.
It is bigger than a cove but not as big as a bay. The main draw is a peaceful spot with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
The bay is small, but it’s a great place to take pictures to remember your trip. Along the Bislig Baywalk, you can also eat street food.

The International Doll House & Ocean View Park Restaurant

William Werner and his wife run the International Doll House & Ocean View Park Restaurant.
Hundreds of international dolls were stored here. Dolls include Babushka, Barbie, and rare, pricey ones.
The restaurant and doll house are on a hill. The wife collects dolls, which inspired them to open the International Doll House next to the restaurant.
The doll house entrance price is ₱20.00 for adults and ₱15.00 for children. The doll house has real dolls. Barbies from several nations were present. Barbies have passports, too.
Mrs Ruelaine’s fondness for Barbies began in the 1980s and expanded as she and her husband travelled the globe. According to reports, Mrs William collects dolls in every nation she visits.

Bao-Bao Falls

You can find Bao-Bao Falls in Diatogon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur. It is a small waterfall that hasn’t been changed much, making it a nice place to relax away from the busy streets of the nearby town.

On June 19, it’s also the anniversary of Surigao del Sur’s beginning. People from different groups get together to give thanks, which is what the name “Ka’liga” means.
